1. Astro Stacker
Astro Stacker provides tools for importing, aligning, calibrating, stacking, enhancing, and exporting astrophotography on compatible Apple devices. Some features are free and others require an in-app subscription or lifetime purchase.
2. App Store terms and eligibility
The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple’s applicable media-services terms and App Store rules. You must be legally able to agree to these terms and comply with the age and account requirements that apply in your country.
3. Free and Pro access
The website describes the current Free limits and Pro capabilities. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features as the product evolves. The purchase screen shown by the app and App Store at the time of purchase controls the final product, local currency, taxes, eligibility, billing period, and price.
4. Subscriptions and lifetime purchases
Monthly and annual subscriptions are billed through Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account before renewal. A lifetime purchase is a non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the lifetime tier offered at the time of purchase for as long as Astro Stacker continues to make that tier and compatible app available. It is not a promise that every future product or separate service will be included.
Apple handles billing, cancellation, and refund decisions. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Current public pricing is shown for the US App Store; prices may vary by country and can change prospectively.
5. Your photographs and permitted use
You keep ownership of photographs and other content you process with Astro Stacker. You are responsible for having the right to use that content and for choosing where to save or share exported results. You may use the app for lawful personal or commercial image processing.
You may not reverse engineer the app except where law expressly permits it, interfere with security or operation, distribute malicious code, misuse Astro Stacker’s branding, or use the service in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
The app, website, software, visual design, text, trademarks, and original assets are owned by or licensed to Astro Stacker. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app in accordance with your App Store purchase and these terms. Third-party imagery and Apple marks remain subject to their respective rights.
7. Availability and results
We work to keep Astro Stacker reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device, file, camera, telescope, or operating-system version. Astrophotography results depend on capture conditions and source frames. Keep backups of original files and review exports before deleting source material.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. To the extent permitted by law, Astro Stacker is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, or loss caused by failing to keep a backup. Consumer rights provided by applicable law remain unaffected.
9. Ending use and changes
You may stop using the app at any time and manage subscriptions through Apple. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address a serious breach. We may update these terms prospectively; material changes will be identified by a revised effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app or website notice.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, mandatory rights and courts in your home country may also apply. Questions can be sent to support@astrostacker.app.
